It doesn’t sound creepy. It doesn’t sound unnatural as you so often see when somebody’s got thin foam and they slap it all over their walls. This is really an excellent sound room.
Doug: It still gives you your auditory cues when you walk into a room. Your ears basically gauge how big the space is you’re in. It’s unnerving to go into a room that has no reflections at all.
For context, here we are at the west side of the studio live room where we have mondo traps, again at the corners to trap bass. Anyone that’s plugged in here can have eight different feeds from the console. So, they can monitor bass for its guitar, keyboard, drums, and they can generate their own mix.
So, in this video we saw how Doug treated the studio and the control room here and his live room.
